Why Your Vote Counts

June 18, 2019

Hello Friends and Neighbors!

Our great City of Malden is rich in culture and our community ranks in the top ten of most diverse cities in Massachusetts. This is what I love most about Malden. As we continue to grow in population, so should our concerns, views and best practices for our children and Malden Public Schools.

Our classrooms are over-crowded, which likely means those kiddos with individualized plans are not getting the attention they require and are entitled to receive. In recent years we have seen cuts to bus service (excluding children with IEP), and after school programs with little notice, leaving parents scrambling. Parental input and advocacy are essential in making Malden Public Schools the very best for our children. It is time for a change. It is time for better representation.

I have lived in Malden over five years. Our boy will be a 4th grader in the fall and has a 504 Plan. He transferred from Salemwood to Ferrway last December. I truly have a vested interest in this city and making Malden Public Schools awesome for all of our kiddos.

I am extremely interested in hearing your thoughts and working alongside, you once elected. Please feel free to reach out to me at anytime. Stay tuned for upcoming events. Also, volunteers are welcome. I would LOVE your participation to make this a successful run.
